The Knowles House consists of a beautifully restored 1860s conch house with a newer addition to the side and rear of the original structure. You enter through a small, fully restored 1860s conch house where some of the rooms are located. Behind the living area is a secluded veranda leading to an enclosed garden with heated plunge pool. Over the new rooms at the rear of the property is a very private second floor clothing optional sun deck. Rooms are exquisitely decorated, air conditioned, and incude color television, ceiling fans and bathrobes. Owners Les and Paul serve an expanded continental breakfast poolside daily.

Rates: $100-200 depending on room selection and season.

Assets: The Knowles House is one of the most intimate of Key West guest houses. Les and Paul are just really nice people, and they create a uniquely warm and inviting experience for their guests. We like that you can venture out to enjoy the fun and whimsey of Key West knowing that you can "come home" to a truly warm and welcoming guest house.

Fine Print: No pets, no children and no smoking inside the house (smoking is permitted on the porches or in the garden. A deposit equal to the cost of one-third of your stay or one night, whichever is greater, is required to guarantee a reservation. Deposits of 50% may be required for holiday periods and special events. The balance is due upon arrival. Sorry, no refunds for early departures. Personal checks accepted only for advance reservations. Deposits will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is received a minimum of 21 days, up to 90 days for holiday periods and special events, prior to arrival. A $25.00 cancellation charge will be deducted from any returned deposit. Cancellation fees of up to $100 per room may apply to holiday periods and special events
