David and Leslie

Congratulations to David Lindholm and Leslie Gowell who were married on the evening of February 17, 2004 on the deck of Cabin 5, Bahia Honda State Park, Middle Florida Keys.  

After a long, unseasonably cold Winter for the Keys, temperatures were climbing toward the 80s the week before David and Leslie's planned wedding. We were looking forward to a glorious, warm sunset ceremony overlooking the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. But another cold northern front blasted through, drenching David and Leslie during their first day touring Key West and churning up the wind and the water the evening they married.

Yet in spite of the elements, the ceremony was a joy. We forget the chill on the air. We remember instead the warmth of the moment.

We wish David and Leslie a long and loving life together.
