Rob and Carrie

Carrie Ann Turner of Jacksonville, Florida and Robert Anthony Cerro Jr. of Montpelier, Vermont,  were married during the first sunset of 2005 on Sombrero Beach in the Middle Keys.

When Rob first contacted us to ask if we were available to solemnize his marriage to Carrie, he wrote, "... in the spirit of 'some things are worth waiting for' we're tying the knot on New Year's Day, symbolic of our beginning a brand-new life together." Rob and Carrie met more than a decade ago, but went their separate ways. It was only recently that they met again, rekindled their friendship, and fell in love.

Rob and Carrie's ceremony was a simple one. Carrie vowed to Rob:

"I will always love you and do my best to constantly bring you happiness. No matter what events we encounter in the future, whether good or bad, I will always be by your side and together I know we can overcome anything that comes our way. Thank you for all the smiles you've brought to my face, I hope to do the same for you each and every day until we part from this world."

And Rob vowed to Carrie:

A long time ago, I was drawn to a ray of Florida sunshine so warm and so brilliant, not even a decade of time could erase its memory from my mind.  You are so incredibly loving, Carrie Ann, and wonderfully sensitive & thoughtful, spirited & kind.  Falling for you was the easiest thing I've ever done.  I stand beside you today, beautiful beachcomber, happy to begin our journey together as your husband, now and forever more.  I have always, and will always love you.

And so they were married. We wish them a long and very happy life together.
