James and Samantha

James Arnold Ballantine and Samantha Chatwin of Bournemouth, England, were married at sunset on March 18, 2005 at the gazebo at Hawk's Cay Resort on Duck Key. 

James and Samantha, family and close friends came all the way from England for an umbrella-free wedding at Hawk's Cay resort in the middle of the subtropical Florida Keys. James and Samantha are a lovely couple, and they were accompanied by a genuinely wonderful group of people as they exchanged their vows.

In England, we learned, one can not get married just anywhere one chooses. James and Samantha had to travel a long way to have the romantic wedding of their dreams. Although they planned their wedding months in advance, not everything happened as they were led to expect, and, as a result, they were left with mixed memories: some disappointing, some joyous. 

We sincerely hope that their disappointments quickly will be resolved, and that they soon will be left with only good memories of their trip to the Keys and their wedding at Hawk's Cay.

We wish them a long, happy and fulfilling life together.
